Alec has been fascinated by communication through letters. For the last few months he has been giving tremendous letters and envelopes to us containing his drawing to express himself (when he feels shy on certain issues). One day he asked me how to write: "You are invited to Alec's Party". I wrote down on a piece of paper so he can copy it somewhere else. I thought he was planning to invite us to his party. He then made small cards, business card size and writing the sentence on the cards. I pay no attention until he came home from school and said: "I invited ALL of my friends to my Party" Imagining 18 toddlers showed up unexpectedly to my home for a party made me had a sudden migraine...
Me: "You whaaaa.....?"
Alec: "I gave my friends the invitation cards so we can have a tea party"
Me: "Did you write the date and the time on the cards?" thinking if they come today, I'll be in trouble.
Alec: "What date?"
