Quip du Jours

Sean had a meeting at home around 6.30 p.m. last night. Pastor Moses came to discuss some issues and he tagged his son along with him. I was out doing some projects and Alec kept interrupting his meeting with comments like "Can you play with me, Mom is out because her car isn't here".

So Pastor Moses said "Why don't you boys play together" because his son had a hard time to sit still anyway. The kids had a blast, playing Wii, army, guns, you know, boyish stuff. Alec being really cute and asked "Does he really have to go home?" when it's time for them to go home.

Me: "I heard you have a new friend and had a good time, last night. What's his name?"
Alec: "It's a she, Mom"
Me: "That's not what I've heard"
Alec: "It was Nashwa"
Me: "Huh?"
Alec: "O, no. It was a dream. I was dreaming last night. I was going to tell Nashwa something and she kissed me"
Me: "Wow. What a dream. So what's your new friend's name?"
Alec: "I don't know"
Me: "You don't know? What did you call him?"
Alec: "I called him, hey"
