Sean sent Alec to bed...
Alec: "Mom, I don't want you to be the boss. I want daddy to be the boss"
Me: "Who says I'm the boss?"
Alec: "I want daddy to be the real boss"
Me: "Ok"
Alec: "I want you to write it down. Can you say 'I'll let daddy to be the boss' now?"
Me: "Can I do it tomorrow? I'm very sleepy now. I've been up since 4 this morning"
Alec: "I can help you. How do you write it? Can you help me write it? What's after 'I' ?"
Alec was drawing a picture of himself and Sean holding hands together...
Me: "Alec, that looks good! Are you drawing yourself and daddy together?"
Alec: "Yes. Can you stop disturbing me, Mom? I'm not done, yet"
