Alec: "Am I going to be 5 tomorrow?"
Me: "Yes you are"
Alec: "Am I going to be 18 after that?"
Me: "Usually 6 goes next"
Alec: "And then 18?"
Me: "No, you'll be 7 and 8 and so on. Just like counting. You have to be 17 before celebrating your 18"
Alec: "Whaaaa? That's way too long!"

Alec and I were doing errands when we met one of Alec's High Scope friends.
Me: "Why were you so rude? And Vincent didn't say hello to you either?"
Alec: "Well, first of all, HE is the one that rude to me at school. He is being silly, in fact, it was kind of dumb. Nashwa likes me and wants to play with me all the time. He wants to play with Nashwa. I say 'whatever'".
