I bought some paints at Ace Hardware (awesome shop) and ready to pay when the cashier told me if I spend 10 thou more rups, I will be entitle to get certain coupons (it is one of the programs they have to attract more customers. Apparently it works. Because they made me spend more Rp on a (cute black spring wire-attached-to-a whistle'-kind of) key chain. I blew the whistle in front of Alec as soon as I got home.
Alec: "Mom! No! You will get your germs all over it!"
