I stared at him and I don't think Alec knows what it meant. Alec thought he said something bad...
Alec: "No. I didn't mean it. I was pretending"
Me: "Fascinating is a kind word. A very good one, you will make someone happy if you said that to them"
Alec: "Ok. You can have your fascinating back"
