Alec was a real trooper in this trip. 80% of the road in this trip was not in perfect conditions. Well, we were heading to one of the forest in Sumatra , so that was to be expected. Alec refused to sit back in the car. Instead, he excitedly watched the scenery and of course getting sick because of it. He asked if he still can play with the elephants if we return home. Funny kid. He has been walking, hiking, picking litter and play today; more than in his entire life. He was not complaining of exhaustion, but asked Sean to hold my hand (we thought that was the sweetest thing he did, everyone near us says; aawwww). And then he asked Sean to carry him on his shoulder. Everyone laughed so hard the way Alec asked to be carried. He wants to make sure that Sean will not say no to him. Such a character. Alec played in the water fall for the first time today and had a blast. He stared at the water fall like it was the coolest thing ever. And then I thought, anything involving water is the coolest thing for Alec.
