A sad week

We have a sad Alec for the last 6 days now. Alec is insecure and is not letting me out of his sight. Sean and I figured this might be a result of our continuous travels over the last month. First, I went to Brastagi with Diane for 3 days, next Sam and I went to Jakarta to get immunization shots for her for 3 days. The following weekend Sean and I went to Malaysia. The travels continue with Sean went to Bangka and I went to Jakarta again for couple of days. Sean joined me in Jakarta with Brad and Renae for the New Year. Between being left at home and having to share his Mom with our visitors, Alec seems to have become especially timid. We also think that Alec needs friends his age to play with during the day. Alec goes to Tumble Tots every other day, but he often tells us that he really misses his best friend Nicholas (from when we lived in Washington). He now has a new best friend, Evan, but he said he still misses Nicholas. We have been looking for play dates for Alec and hopefully something will come together soon. But starting next week, we hope he will have play dates. That should help a bit.
